We got this as a little Christmas gift for our dog, and he was curious as soon as he heard the bell. He likes carrying it around by the ribbons and bringing it over when he wants us to play. Such a cute festive toy!
My golden loves a game of fetch in the living room, so this has been a fun addition to his toys. The ribbons make it easy for him to pick up. We put it away after playtime because he tends to chew fabric if left alone with it
The Christmas design is adorable, but my favorite part is watching her get excited when I give it a little shake. We’ve been playing short games with it in the evenings. A simple little gift that makes playtime feel festive

He spent the first few minutes sniffing every little ribbon before deciding what to do with it 😂 Then he started nudging it around and trying to catch the tabs. I took this picture while he was completely focused on it. Didn’t even look up when I called his name
He went straight for the green handle and walked off with it before I’d even put the packaging away lol. He likes carrying toys from room to room, so I probably should’ve expected that. Managed to get this photo when he finally stopped next to the sofa.
I couldn’t open the box without him getting involved 😂 His nose was practically inside it the whole time. As soon as I pulled the ball out, he leaned in for a proper inspection. Opening something for him is always more entertaining than opening anything for myself.
She carried it straight to her bed and settled down beside it, which was honestly very cute. I moved it when I was straightening her blanket, and she got up to bring it back. Took this photo because she looked so comfortable with her little Christmas ball next to her.
We took it into the garden for a little playtime, and he kept nudging it across the grass and following it around. He’d stop, stare at it, then suddenly jump forward again 😂 It picked up a few bits of grass, of course, but I got some lovely pictures of him.
He’s quite cautious with anything new, so at first he just stood there sniffing it. I left it on the kitchen floor and let him investigate in his own time. Eventually he gave it a little push and followed it. This was right before he finally decided to pick it up.
I put it down beside the sofa while I was having my coffee, and he came over almost immediately to investigate. He kept nudging it and trying to grab the little tabs. Managed to get this picture between him moving around. Most of the others were just a blurry dog!
He decided the middle of the hallway was the perfect place to settle down with it. We all had to step around him while he investigated the ribbons 😂 I sat down nearby to take a picture, and he barely noticed. He was very busy doing his own thing.
He has toys scattered all over this room, but this was the one he brought over when I sat down. Just stood there with the handle in his mouth, waiting for me to notice him 😂 I had to take a picture of that face before putting my phone away to play.
I opened the door and found him standing there with the ball hanging from his mouth. Usually he comes straight over for a fuss, but this time he seemed more interested in showing me what he had 😂 Took a quick photo before sitting out on the porch with him for a bit.
